Introduction

Hello! My name is Liliana and I am a native Spanish speaker from Cartagena de Indias, in Colombia.

I am a professional in Linguistics and Literature and I have been a teacher of Spanish as a foreign language for more than 5 years. Since I started college I had the opportunity to focus on the study of language, its function and its teaching for non-Spanish speakers.

I offer Spanish classes to youngsters, adults and older students from different countries, especially from Europe and North America. I give personalized and/or specialized courses in medicine, tourism, law, university teachers and other areas. I also offer DELE exam preparation classes. Courses with greater complexity that I design based on the work and/or personal needs of each student, giving them enough tools to acquire more knowledge on a specific topic.

I like to create dynamic learning scenarios that are available to young learners and older people. The idea is to give them tools that adapt to their learning style so that they can learn the language and live the experience.

Education

My work experience has allowed me to train from levels A1 to C2 accompanied by gatherings, virtual courses, talks, preparation of teaching materials for face-to-face/virtual classes and preparation for DELE exams. From this, I have been able to create a methodology that focuses on the needs and abilities of each student I have met.

Teaching style

One of my purposes is to provide students with practical and dynamic tools that allow them to stimulate their oral, written, reading, and listening expression, among other skills. My methodology focuses on teaching the student to function in real contexts of the use of the language according to its needs; I believe that the teaching of a second language should include the exchange of general and/or specific knowledge for both the student and the teacher.

Hobbies

In my free time I like to watch series and movies, read literature and spend time with my family and friends.
