Luisa Ardigo - Italian Tutor

Introduction

Since 1994, Luisa has dedicated herself to translating and teaching thanks to her travels, abroad studies, foreign reading and writing. Luisa provides fun and customized lessons based on the student's goals. She also tries to minimize English speaking during the lessons. She gives homework exercises, and her lessons are intermixed with grammar, conversation, customs and traditions. Her goal is to make certain that each student finds learning Italian exciting.

Teaching style

Luisa starts with Italian pronunciation followed by spending some time talking about yourself in simple sentences or words. She likes for her students to listen to native speakers talking, even if they are absolute beginners so that they can hear the sound and try to repeat it. She wants her students to discover the Italian that they already know.

She teaches different topics using videos, books, newspapers, magazines, poems, music, conversation, reading, writing, listening, comprehension and grammar.

Hobbies

Writing, reading, swimming, listening to music and traveling.
